Managing vehicle maintenance and inspections used to be a scattered, confusing process for drivers. ChecKM was created to centralize that experience—connecting users with trusted partner repair shops while giving them clear, actionable visibility into every step of their vehicle care, both at a macro and micro level.

Understanding the Pain Points

Early interviews and usability tests revealed the core issue: users didn’t lack motivation—they lacked tools. Important dates were easily forgotten, workshop options were unclear, and users didn’t know what to expect from each service. Without centralized information and proactive reminders, staying on top of vehicle maintenance was frustrating and unreliable.

Redesigning with purpose

We started by mapping core user flows—from receiving a maintenance alert to completing a service with a partner workshop. Then we worked to reduce friction at every step: consolidating vehicle data, surfacing upcoming service needs, and making it easy to book a workshop with just a few taps. The focus was on clarity, trust, and speed.
